Dr Rakesh Goyal is a Staff Engineer - Mechanics & Fatigue at the John Deere Enterprise Technology Engineering Center, Pune, India. He obtained his PhD in fatigue and fracture mechanics of welded joints from the University of Waterloo (Canada). His research focus includes the topics related to Engineering Mechanics, Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics based methodology development for engineering materials, joining technologies and manufacturing process modeling for distortion and residual stress.
