His main research interests are the discovery and validation of protein biomarkers, the in vivo biotransformation of therapeutic antibodies and the development of novel, instrumental analytical methods with focus on liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS). The Department of Analytical Biochemistry focusses further on bioinformatics related to the processing of complex, hypervariable data sets, as produced by proteomics and metabolomics analyses.
