Romain Weppe

My research focuses on the systematics, phylogeny and evolutionary dynamics of mammals, in particular artiodactyls (even-toed ungulates). By studying their fossil remains, I aim to understand how their patterns of diversity have evolved over time and to identify the factors responsible for their macroevolution. I'm also trying to determine their phylogenetic relationships, mainly by studying cranio-dental morphology. My work is part of the ANR DEADENDER and ENLIVEN projects.
