R. Peter Dillon

Robert “Peter” Dillon received a BSc. in Materials Engineering from CalPoly, SLO and MSc. and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. He started at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2008 as a Technologist in the Advanced Electronic Packaging Engineering group and is currently the Technical Group Supervisor of the Materials Development and Manufacturing Technology Group. Since 2015 he has also been the project manager for the NASA Game Changing Development Program's Bulk Metallic Glass (BMG) Gears project, leading the development of unheated cryo-capable actuators.
