Renato Mainetti received the master's degree in computer science from the Università degli Studi di Milano, Milano, Italy, in 2012. He worked for several years as a freelance collaborating with important industries like Siemens and Autovie Venete. He is now a Research Fellow in Computer Science and collaborates with the Applied Intelligent Systems laboratory in the Università degli Studi di Milano, where he's developing a platform for exergaming at home, funded by the EU funded REWIRE project. His research and previous works encompasses real time video analysis, text to speech generation content for automatic emergency calls, game design, and games for health. RM also enjoys exploring the world of vfx and short film production.
