In my current position, I have been involved in cytology-based screening for cervical, oral and breast cancer and am working on a variety of research projects on cervical and anal cancer in HIV-infected women, and biomarkers for gall bladder carcinoma. I have been a co-guide in MD/MS thesis of postgraduate students of Lok Nayak Hospital, Delhi. For the last five years, I have been the convenor of a series of Hands-on workshop on cervical cancer screening for pathologists, which has been attended by delegates from across the country and abroad. I have more than 100 publications in various national and international journals and am a co-author of a book on biomedical statistics (Biomedical Statistics – A Beginner’s Guide published by Springer).
