As a PhD in Energy Engineering he has strong background in chemical engineering with expertise in energy from biomass and waste, renewable and sustainable energy, decarbonisation and circular economy, bioenergy production, and energy conversion systems. With extensive research experience, he has proven success in designing, carrying out, and managing innovative research projects to contribute valuable insights to the field. He worked with teaching and research tasks at Department of Engineering and the Biomass Research Centre at the University of Perugia (Italy), Valladolid University (Spain), the China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China).
