Bio

Pierre Chauvin is a MD with a MPH and a PhD in Epidemiology and Public health. He created the Department of Social epidemiology in the IPLESP (INSERM & Sorbonne Universite) in Paris in 2000. His research concerns the social and spatial determinants of health and access to care in urban health, with special interests on vulnerable/hard to reach/underserved populations. He is an expert in health services research in France, in the EU, and in the French speaking Sub-saharien African countries.
