I work at the Leibniz IGZ near Berlin. We study how plants adapt to climate. I started my independent career at the John Innes Centre in Norwich, UK. Previously I studied mechanisms of site specific recombination (David J. Sherratt, Oxford), chromosome segregation in budding yeast (John V. Kilmartin, Cambridge) and mechanisms of signalling by FLOWERING LOCUS T (Detlef Weigel, Salk Institute, USA and Max Planck Institute, Germany).
