Peter R Nelson

Peter R. Nelson, MD, MS is Professor of Surgery and Chief of Vascular Surgery at OU College of Medicine. He is the Mary Louise Todd Chair in Cardiovascular Research and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Surgery. Research interests include genomic and proteomic predictors of vascular intervention outcomes, adoption of endovascular techniques and disparities in access to vascular care, and medical student career decision-making for surgical or surgical subspecialty career paths.
