Bio
Pedro Geada holds a MSc in Biological Engineering (2012) and a PhD (MIT Portugal Program Fellowship) in Bioengineering (2018) from the University of Minho. Research interests: use of photosynthetic microorganisms within the scope of circular economy, biorefinery, and zero-waste concepts (e.g., bioremediation of agro-industrial by-products, decarbonization processes); development of innovative growth strategies and new designs of PBRs and fermenters to enhance growth and metabolites production.
