Pavel Trtik

Pavel Trtik received the Ph.D. degree in civil engineering from the Advanced Concrete and Masonry Center, University of Paisley, Paisley, Scotland, in 2000. He was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with ETH Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland, and later a Researcher with the Laboratory for Concrete and Construction Chemistry, Empa, Switzerland. In 2011, he was named as an Associate Professor at his alma mater, Czech Technical University, Prague. He is currently a Beamline Scientist with the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), Villigen, Switzerland. In PSI, he also manages to push the limits of the available spatial resolution in neutron imaging and he is responsible for the user program and further development of the NEUTRA thermal neutron imaging beamline.
