My background is in the computational analysis of new DNA sequencing technologies, specifically in their application to the genomes of complex polyploid crops such as bread wheat. I am currently working with CSIRO to investigate the highly complex aneuploid genome of sugarcane using next-generation DNA sequencing technologies.
