Sukho Park (Member, IEEE) received the master's degree and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Daejeon, South Korea, in 1995 and 2000, respectively. From 2000 to 2004, he was a Senior Research Engineer with LG Electronics Production Research Center, Seoul, South Korea. From 2004 to 2006, he was a Senior Researcher with Microsystem Research Center, Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Seoul, South Korea. From 2006 to 2016, he was a Professor with the School of Mechanical Engineering, Chonnam National University, Gwangju, South Korea, and the Section Head of the Robot Research Initiative. In 2017, he moved to the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology, where he is currently a Full Professor with the Department of Robotics Engineering. His research interests include microactuator, micro/nano robot, and micro/nano manipulation for biomedical instrumental applications.
