Patrik Andersson's research concerns development of methods of identifying chemicals of concern for the environment and human health. In today's society we use a large number of substances in the many products and materials in use. For only a few of these chemicals, we have sufficient data on their risks for humans and the environment. In his research, Patrik Andersson has mainly used computational chemistry tools to develop methods for finding the most harmful substances, but also to avoid and reduce the number of animal experiments.
