Noemi Silva-Sanchez

I am an environmental archaeologist specialised both in geochemistry and palynology. I study human-environment interactions from a long-time perspective focusing on land use change and metal extraction and production. I usually approach my research in a multidisciplinary way combining methodological perspectives within palaeoenvironment, as well as geoarchaeology and even history. I am also involved in peatland conservation due to its value for both natural and cultural heritage.
