Nigel has over 26 years’ experience in coastal geomorphology and management. He has contributed to the creation of over 1700ha of new wetland habitat and has appraised over 150 sites. He undertakes nature based coastal defence projects around the world involving beaches, dunes, marshes and reefs. Nigel contributes to national and international guidance documents produced by the World Bank, USACE , ASCE and UK Environment Agency.
