N. C. Pepin

Nicholas Pepin received the Ph.D. degree in geography from the University of Durham, Durham, U.K., in 1994, studying patterns of warming in the mountains of the U.K. He is currently a Reader of climate science with the University of Portsmouth, Portsmouth, U.K. He combines a field-based approach with remote sensing and modeling to investigate changing patterns of elevation-dependent warming across varied mountain regions. His field networks include Kilimanjaro, Finnish Lapland, and the Pyrenees.
