My research interests cover Earth's climate through time, solar system planet climates and exoplanets. I am interested in understanding how climates evolve and how life and the planetary climate systems interact, in particular to explore the evolution of the life-climate system on Earth, and how that might have differed on Mars or Venus and for exoplanets.

My work also aims to provide support to space missions to solar system planets, such as developing a Martian weather forecasting system and a Venus climate model.

I am also interested in understanding how gas giant planets form and evolve, combining state-of-the-art models with observations from cutting-edge facilities such as the JWST.

I am also beginning to become interested in the way that AI/ML techniques can be incorporated into our methods for understanding and prediction climates and weather.
