Nandana Amarasinghe

Nandana Amarasinghe received the B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in physics from the University of Peradeniya, Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, the M.S. degree in applied mathematics, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from Kent State University, Kent, OH, USA. He is currently a Senior Scientific Programmer Analyst with Science Systems and Applications Inc., Lanham, MD, USA, and with NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), Greenbelt, MD, USA. Since 2008, he has been a member of the Cloud Retrieval Group at NASA GSFC, where he is involved in radiative transfer modeling, algorithm development, and data analysis. He has also held positions at Remote Sensing Systems, Santa Rosa, CA, USA, and the University of Peradeniya, Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.
