Naif Almakayeel

Naif Almakayeel is an accomplished academic and industrial engineer, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Industrial Engineering Department at King Khalid University in Saudi Arabia. With a strong background in the field of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Naif has made significant contributions to the academic and research community. Naif's educational journey began with his Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, which he obtained from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia in January 2004. Equipped with a solid foundation in the discipline, he then pursued his Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Saint Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas, graduating in December 2013. During his master's program, he focused on a project centered around inventory strategy, further honing his skills and knowledge in the field. Seeking to expand his expertise and make a substantial impact, Naif pursued a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. In December 2017, he successfully defended his dissertation titled "Development of a Framework for Cyber Nano Manufacture." His doctoral research delved into the development of an innovative framework in the emerging field of Cyber Nano Manufacturing. Since August 2019, Naif has been serving as an Assistant Professor at King Khalid University. In this role, he imparts his extensive knowledge to students while also conducting research and contributing to the advancement of the Industrial Engineering field. His expertise lies in areas such as manufacturing systems, quality control, lean manufacturing, supply chain management, and optimization techniques. Throughout his career, Naif Almakayeel has showcased a strong commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, and the practical application of industrial engineering principles.
