Nathan Myhrvold

Nathan Myhrvold is an applied mathematician, physicist, inventor, and technologist who currently does research in asteroid science, paleobiology, climate science, and food science. His recent work has focused on rigorous statistical modeling of asteroids diameters and albedos, as well as of dinosaur growth and metabolic rates. As an inventor, he has contributed many novel applications of metamaterials to radar imaging, satellite and terrestrial communications, wireless power transfer, and security scanning, all of which are now being commercialized.
