Educated and trained as Hydrometerologist, I am a passionate researcher in the field of Hydroinformatics. Love to apply modelling approaches besides AI. I am currently serving as an Asst Professor of Remote Sensing in Pakistan. I was one of the pioneer scientists who laid the foundation of a new Institute of Geo-Information and Earth Observation at Arid Agriculture University of Pakistan. I have also worked at Pakistan Meteorological Department for 10-years before joining the academia. I work in all areas of optical remote sensing with more focus on agriculture, water, glaciers, and drought etc. My research interest includes climate change, primary production, developing and modifying spectral water and vegetation indices, hyperspectral remote sensing, and machine learning techniques.
