Bio
Mohammad Khalid received the bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India, the M.Sc. degree in chemical and environmental engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and the Ph.D. degree from the International Islamic University, Malaysia, where he worked on developing radiation cross-linked rubber nanocomposites. He is currently a Full Professor and the Head of the Graphene and Advanced 2-D Materials Research Group, Sunway University, Malaysia. His research interests include 2-D material synthesis, heat transfer fluids, phase change materials, energy harvesting, and conversion and storage. More specifically, he is currently working on solar energy harvesting using deep eutectic salts (DES), carbon nanoparticles-based nanolubricants for improving engine performance, and supercapattery devices for energy storage. He has published more than 100 articles in international journals and refereed international conferences, five patents, and seven chapters in books. He is also a Chartered Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (MIChemE) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), U.K.
