个人简介
After my post-graduation from DR.RPGMC Tanda and from there my career was shaped into a five-star Community Medicine Specialist.
Family Physician: Joined as Medical Officer in State Health Services in 2008 and was in charge of Primary Health Centre which catered to around 10,000 population with an average daily OPD of 150 patients. During post-graduation I was part of the team which started Animal Bite Clinic and till now providing my services in Flu OPD.
Management and Training: During my state health services, I was managing a PHC and three Health sub-center along with 43 Aaganwaries and 27 schools. During PG and after PG till now managed a number of seminars, Meetings, CME, Workshops and Conferences. During PG started the Animal bite clinic which was the first of its kind in any medical college. After PG was posted as District Programme Officer and was managing National Health Programmes like NCD, RBSK, ASHA and Community Process, Rural and Urban Health Mission, Leprosy, Tuberculosis, Disaster, Health Education Department, etc. was instrumental in planning and conceptualizing various activities of the district as well as state and national level. e.g State Level Pulse Polio launch and National Level Pentavalent vaccine launch. During my residency period, I was given charge of Deputy Medical Superintendent, MCI Inspections, Purchasing, IT and Video department of College, Assistant Nodal Officer COVID, COVID Vaccination and conceptualizing and later in charge of first of its kind in State a Public Health OPD. When it comes to training I was a block trainer during state health services in the field, during post-graduation attended and imparted numerous trainings, after post-graduation as a district programme officer, I was leading trainer in the state for NCD and till now attended endless trainings and imparting some kind of training almost on a daily routine basis.
Epidemiologist: During my services as Medical Officer, I was in charge of the Rapid Response Team of block and responsible for any outbreak investigation and management. While doing my post-graduation I learned the real meaning of epidemiologists when I got myself involved in various outbreak investigations, research projects, gathering data and generating evidence from that and representing that at various national and international levels. With nineteen publications and numerous projects, it is still continuing and I am always involved in some kind of research project.
Teaching: I always believe that if you want to become a good learner you must be a good teacher and with this spirit, I always voluntarily involve myself in conceptualizing the teaching rosters and implementing them. Community Medicine with real experiences is incomplete and my vast experience in field services along with exposure at the national and international level makes my pedagogy skills more relevant to students. Blending my vast experience with the new Competency-Based Curriculum helped me to bring out my best for students. Along with subject teaching, I am in charge of information technology subjects for BSc nursing and MBBS students. Certified teacher for Community Health Officer course and ASHA certification.
Health Communication and Advocacy: Right information at the right time to the right person is very important in today's infodemic world. Here my role as a health communicator and advocate takes a prime role due to my ability to provide evidence-based health information. Actively takes part in various health talks at the Community level so the last man standing is never left deprived of his or her share.
Vision: I believe that Nations are not built in one day and until we put our individual best efforts any institution cannot grow alone. In the future, I would like to work in coordination with all stakeholders which can help me to achieve the institutional aims and objectives. A vast experience in peripheral health services and exposure at the international level brings out my best when any responsibility is vested upon my shoulders. My passion for digital health will help me to train and do research in the upcoming artificial intelligence future.
