Michael E. Nord

Michael E. Nord received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. From 2001 until 2005, he was with the Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, DC, where he worked on synthetic aperture radio astronomy. From 2005 to 2006, he was with the Naval Research Laboratory, where he worked on polarimetric synthetic aperture radar. In 2006, he joined the Applied Physics Laboratory, The Johns Hopkins University, Laurel, MD, as a Senior Staff Member, and currently works in the Oceanic, Atmospheric, and Remote Sensing Sciences group. His research interests include signal processing and remote sensing.
