Bio
He has over 35 years of experience with NAA and gamma-ray spectroscopy as applied to archaeology, geochemistry, and environmental science. His current research focus involves obsidian source and artifact characterization in the Western Hemisphere. Dr. Glascock has co-authored more than 500 articles on compositional analysis of ceramics, obsidian and other artifacts and co-edited several books. Two of the most notable books include Archaeological Chemistry: Analytical Techniques and Archaeological Interpretation published in 2007 and Ceramics of the Indigenous Cultures of South America published in 2019.
