My research interests are centered around protein science, structural biology, evolution, neuroscience and biotechnology. Currently I am a UQ Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Queensland, where I am exploring the evolution of natural venoms and venom-based therapeutics and biotechnology. Prior to this I completed my doctoral studies at the CSIRO, characterising novel silk proteins and developing methods to produce artificial silk.
