Maurizio Rocchetti

Maurizio Rocchetti received the Laurea degree in physics from the University of Milan, Milan, Italy, in 1978. He was with the Biomathematics and Biostatistics Unit, Mario Negri Pharmacology Research Institute, Milan, Italy, where he drove the development of innovative models for the analysis of data from different fields of pharmacology. Since 1991, he has held different positions in the pharmaceutical industries. He is currently with the Pharmacokinetics and Modeling Group, Nerviano Medical Sciences, Nerviano, Italy, where he is leading a group of data modeling scientists, and is in charge of analyzing preclinical and clinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacological studies mainly in the oncology area. Since 2001, he has also been a Professor of statistics at the Medical Biology Department, Insubria University, Varese, Italy. He is the author or coauthor of more than 100 publications, 62 of which have been published in peer-reviewed journals. He is a coinventor of three patented methodologies.
