Matthias A Zumstein

Professor Matthias Zumstein is currently Section Head of Shoulder, Elbow and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at Sonnenhof Orthopaedics in Bern, Switzerland. He is also Senior Consultant of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, at the Bern University Hospital (Inselspital) Bern, Switzerland. Professor Zumstein was Deputy Clinical Director until 2019. Professor Zumstein is also an active member and the chairman of the board of directors of Sportclinic #1, Bern. He had the privilege of completing his research and clinical fellowships in shoulder surgery with Professor Christian Gerber in Zurich, Switzerland and Professor Pascal Boileau in Nice, France. He also completed a clinical fellowship in elbow and wrist surgery at the University Hospital in Adelaide, Australia with Professor Greg Bain.
