Mathieu Hébert received the Ph.D. degree from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 2006. Since 2010, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Institut d’Optique Graduate School and the Laboratoire Hubert Curien, CNRS, University Jean Monnet of Saint-Etienne. Since 2019, he has been the Director of the research grouping ‘APPAMAT’ of CNRS on material appearance sciences. His research activity is focused on optical models for appearance in various applications domains, such as printing, manufacturing, and health and beauty.
