Martin P. Persson

Martin P. Persson was born in Broby, Sweden, in 1974. He received the Master degree in engineering physics and the Ph.D. degree in solid state physics from Lund University, Lund, Sweden, in 1999 and 2004, respectively. After receiving his Ph.D., he moved to “Tor Vergata” University, Rome, Italy, were he worked as a Postdoc on electronic and optical properties of GaN nanowires. In 2006, he moved to the Institute for Nanosciences and Cryogenics of the CEA Grenoble, France. He is currently working on modeling of transport properties in semiconductor nanostructures, in particular semiconductor nanowires, mostly using tight-binding methods.
