Mark Simkin received the Ph.D. degree from the Cryptography Group, Aarhus University, Denmark, in 2019, under the supervision of Ivan Damgård. He is currently a Researcher at the Ethereum Foundation. Before joining Ethereum, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Aarhus University under the supervision of Kasper Green Larsen. His research interests lie in the area of secure computation, secret sharing, as well as the intersection of cryptography and algorithms.
