Bio

Mark C. Pierce received the B.S. degree in 1997 in physics and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical optics from The University of Manchester, Manchester, U.K. From 2001 to 2005, he was a Postdoctoral Trainee with Wellman Laboratories, Massachussetts General Hospital. From 2005 to 2011, he was a Member of the Research Faculty with Rice University. He is currently an Associate Professor with Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick, NJ, USA.
