Mark E. Baird

Mark Baird leads the CSIRO Coastal Biogeochemical Modelling Team. He is an aquatic scientist who uses observations and numerical models to study estuarine and marine ecosystems. In particular, he has developed new parameterisations of ecological processes such as seagrass growth and coral host-symbiont growth. At present his main study site is the Great Barrier Reef (see www.eReefs.info).
