Marianne Zeyringer was born in Vienna, Austria on April 16th 1987. She studied economics and environmental and bioresources management in Vienna and received a joint doctoral degree in energy systems modelling from Utrecht University and University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). Her employment experience includes the European Commission Joint Research Centre in Petten and UCL Energy Institute. She has been a Visiting Researcher at IIASA and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and is currently an Associate Professor in renewable energy systems at the University of Oslo.
