Bio
Minh D. Nguyen started his studies in chemistry (1995-1999). After his master in Materials Science (2001), he received his PhD in 2010 in Physics from the University of Twente, The Netherlands. His research interests focus on various piezoelectric MEMS devices, concentrates on piezoelectric micro-diaphragms and micro-cantilevers for micro-fluidics and micro-biosensors applications. These devices are based on the textured and epitaxial Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 (PZT) and Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3/PbTiO3 (PMN-PT) thin films, fabricated on Si wafers using pulse laser deposition (PLD) and sol-gel techniques.
