Lucas Zimmer

Lucas Zimmer received the BSc and MSc degrees from ETH Zürich, in 2016 and 2018, respectively, collaborating in research projects with The Paul Scherrer Institute and the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), ETH Zürich. He is currently a research engineer at the University of Freiburg, Breisgau, Germany. After his studies, he started working with the University Medical Center Freiburg on machine learning for medical applications before joining the automated machine learning research group of Frank Hutter. His research interests include automated machine learning, neural architecture search, metalearning, and hyperparameter optimization.
