Lisa Hale

I implement biophysical and biochemical assays to support drug-discovery programmes at the Centre of Therapeutics Discovery within LifeArc. Prior to my position at LifeArc, I completed a PhD in Structural Biology from Imperial College London. As a biophysicist, biochemist and protein engineer, I have substantial experience with SPR (Biacore), ITC, MST, thermal shift, NMR, protein crystallography, enzyme assays, protein construct design, PCR, mammalian and bacterial protein expression (including antibodies), protein purification using AKTA systems and protein cross-linking. The research areas I have focused on include oncology, dementia and microbiology.
