Lih-Seng Yeh

Dr. Jason Lih-Seng Yeh is currently an adjunct professor of Institute of Veterinary Clinical Sciences in National Taiwan University (NTU). He had also served as Chief of Surgery of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital; Convener of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC); founder and first director of the Institute of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, NTU. Dr. Yeh has devoted in the animal welfare movement in Taiwan for more than 30 years. He was the main drafter of the Animal Protection Law of Taiwan. His academic and professional interests include animal welfare and legal issues, transplant immunology, veterinary plastic and reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, and orthopedics. Professor Yeh is ambitious in promoting veterinary continuing education. He introduced the surgical residency training system in the NTU, was the founder and the first chairperson of Taiwan College of Veterinary Surgeons (TCVS), the vice-chairperson of Asian Society of Veterinary Surgeons (AiSVS). Dr. Yeh also serves as an ambassador member of AOVET society.
