Perform research related to the development of a harmonized multi-risk assessment at pan-European and global scale. The primary duties involve the analysis of past, observed climate extreme events (such as floods, droughts, heat waves etc. including concurrent ad compound events) and the development of dynamic scenarios of multiple-risk assessment (including hazard, exposure and vulnerability) in view of climate change and appraise the costs and benefits of different adaptation measures.
