Bio
Dr. Lei Bi's primary research interest focuses on electromagnetic wave scattering by non-spherical ice crystals and mineral dust aerosols in the atmosphere. Such work has a wide variety of applications in atmospheric radiation and remote sensing. In 2015, he received Richard Goody award for his contribution to atmospheric radiation research. In 2016, he received Xieyibing young scientist award. In 2019, He received IAMAS Eearly Career Scientist Medal. He serves as Internation Radiation Commission (IRC) commissioner, an associate editor of Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy & Radiative Transfer, and an editor of Asia-Pacific Journal of Atmospheric Sciences.
