Kenneth Lai

Kenneth Lai (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical and Software Engineering, Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, Calgary, Canada, in 2012, 2015, and 2022, respectively. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Biometric Technologies Laboratory, University of Calgary. He has published papers on using deep learning techniques for face recognition, gesture recognition, and stress detection. His research interests include pattern recognition, machine learning, and biometrics and their application to security and healthcare systems.
