Kiran Patel received the B.E. degree in electronics and communication from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India, in 2008, and the M.E. degree in signal processing and VLSI technology from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, in 2012. In 2003, he joined the Institute for Plasma Research, Gandhinagar, India. He was involved in data acquisition and instrumentation control activities related to plasma diagnostic. He was deputed to work with CEA Cadarache, Saint-Paul-lez-Durance, France, from June 2016 to December 2016, for the development of I&C and data acquisition system for visible spectroscopy diagnostic. He was actively involved in the design and development of Thomson scattering, microwave interferometer, and neutral pressure measurement diagnostic. His current research interest includes real-time plasma density stabilization by controlling gas fuelling systems.
