Junjie Zhang

Dr. Jun-Jie Zhang, MD, PhD, is an interventional cardiologist and Vice Director of Cardiology Division, Director of Cardiac Catheter Lab of Nanjing First Hospital, Nanjing Medical University. Dr. Zhang is a Mentor of coronary intervention training base of China Health Ministry; a Fellow of Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). He has served as the General Secretary of Coronary Bifurcation Summit (CBS) from 2008; the Senior Faculty of China Interventional Therapeutics (CIT) from 2010 and the Faculty of Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) from 2015. He has authored more than 50 manuscripts and abstracts published in the peer-reviewed literatures. Dr. Zhang’s areas of expertise include left main & bifurcation and complex coronary disease intervention; antiplatelet and antithrombotic pharmacotherapies; intravascular imaging (IVUS and OCT); drug-coating balloons.
