Juergen Oberst

Jürgen Oberst received the Ph.D. degree in planetary geodesy from The University of Texas at Austin, Austin, TX, USA, 1989. He is currently a faculty member and Chair of Planetary Geodesy with the Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformation Sciences, Technical University Berlin, Berlin, Germany. In his research, he works on various aspects of planetary geodesy and geophysics, using data from Laser altimeters and cameras. His particular interest is on planet Mars. He has been a long-standing Co-Investigator in the team of the High-Resolution Stereo Camera on Mars Express.
