Joon-Yong Lee has worked as a scientist in Pacific Northwest National Laboratory(PNNL) since Sep. 2017. Before this, he worked at ATR International IRC of Japan and Iowa State University. He received the B.S. degree in electronics engineering from Ajou university, Suwon, Korea, in 2002 and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, in 2004. He also received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the KAIST, Daejeon, Korea, in 2011. His current research interests include evolutionary computation, machine learning, and intelligent control.
