Jonathan M. Willis

My research is broadly focused on resolving problems and answering questions pertinent to environmental issues facing aquatic habitats through plant physiological ecology and wetland biogeochemistry. Specifically, my research addresses highly applied questions in the fields of ecotoxicology, restoration ecology, and environmental sustainability. I am particularly interested in novel phytoremediation applications in wetland systems and novel substrates for vegetation restoration.
