John Weaver

John Weaver enjoyed a thirty year career as an atmospheric scientist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) . His specialty was severe weather and satellite meteorology. He spent five years at the National Severe Storms Laboratory (NSSL) in Norman, Oklahoma, and twenty-five years at the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) based at Colorado State University (CSU). He retired from NOAA in 2005 and returned to school to earn an undergraduate degree in psychology (emphasis in social psychology), and took a part time job with CIRA which lasted six years. He is currently retired.
