Professor Moses is the founding Professor of Organic and Click Chemistry at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, New York (appointed June 2020). He began his independent research career in 2005 as an RCUK-EPSRC fellow in Chemical Biology & Cancer Medicinal Chemistry; the University of London, School of Pharmacy. In September 2007, he was appointed at the University of Nottingham as Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry; before moving (2017) to the La Trobe Institute for Molecular Science (Melbourne, Australia), as the Professor of Organic Chemistry. John is a professional visiting scientist in the Sharpless laboratory at The Scripps Research Institute (La Jolla). His research interests include Click Chemistry, Biomimetic Synthesis, Anti-Cancer & Antibiotic Drug Discovery, and Chemical Biology.
